Together to Restore Life to the National Hospital

Published on January 12, 2026

Two days, dozens of hands, and one hospital returned to life.

With this title began the "Together to Restore Life to the National Hospital" initiative launched by a group of volunteer teams in the city of Jableh, including our Hand in Hand Association, to rehabilitate the National Hospital after it was vandalized.

Volunteers from the city's residents participated in the initiative, united by one goal: cleaning the hospital departments, repairing minor damages, and contributing to restoring the pulse to a place that is a lifeline for the city's residents.

The work axes were as follows:

  1. Hospital rehabilitation: Comprehensive cleaning of damaged departments, and repairing what can be repaired with simple tools and great will.
  2. Ensuring a healthy and safe environment: With the aim of continuing to provide medical services in clean and safe conditions for patients and medical staff.
  3. Enhancing the spirit of volunteering: Instilling a culture of participation and collective work to serve public health, and turning adversity into an opportunity to build confidence and awareness.

And the results:

– A cleaner and safer hospital environment.

– Enhancing trust between society and its health institutions.

– Igniting the spirit of hope and belonging in the hearts of volunteers and residents.
