Who We Are

We are a non-profit association registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Syria. We aim to empower individuals, promote the spirit of volunteerism, and build a cohesive community founded on cooperation and solidarity—one that believes in its responsibility to build a better future.

Our Vision

To be the leading national model in human development and empowerment, community solidarity, and the sustainability of the local environment.

The vision focuses on promoting the following concepts:

• To be the leading and most distinguished model among associations operating in Syria.

• To adopt a hand-in-hand approach to development and empowerment at the following levels:

• At the individual level: Hand In Hand seeks to build people’s capacities, knowledge, and skills, enabling them to work effectively and lead their lives with dignity.

• At the community level: Strengthening the social fabric and fostering bonds of trust, so that the community becomes resilient in the face of crises and ready to support initiatives. It also aims to provide opportunities for individuals to participate in implementing and promoting volunteer projects, making volunteerism a sustainable culture.

• At the local environment level: Improving the infrastructure of public facilities and services in ways that enhance overall quality of life.

Our Mission

We design and implement integrated development solutions and projects in partnership with the community and donors. We are committed to good governance and impact measurement in order to empower individuals culturally, educationally, athletically, and economically, enhance the quality of community life, and promote a culture of volunteerism.
